SACS has a long history of supporting missions. Beginning in preschool, students hear adventure stories about Christian missionary work. Elementary school classes adopt their own missionaries to write, encourage, and support.  They also read biographies about famous missionaries from the past. Some of our own teachers have left SACS to go to the mission field. In all of our chapels, missionaries are invited to speak, show slides and videos, and testify that Jesus died for all peoples of the world.

Every year, high school students are invited to go on SACS sponsored mission trips. Over the years, we have brought teams of students, parents, and teachers to work in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Russia, Mexico, Ireland, Ukraine and Africa. Also our students are encouraged to go on summer mission trips with their local churches and then return to tell our student body how the Lord used them to make an impact for Christ.

Missions Testimony
"I have been to the Ukraine two times and I am planning on making a third trip there this summer. God has given me a strong desire to minister to the children and that is why I love going to Ukraine. While there, we show God’s love to the orphans by creating VBS-type programs and playing games with them. The Lord has blessed me so much by showing me His amazing power of breaking language barriers. Although I could not speak Russian, I felt such a special bond with the children and God just filled my heart with love for them. I am so excited to be a part of God’s plan in Ukraine and cannot wait to see all the amazing things He will do this year."
