STEP 3
Admission interview:

  • We will begin receiving applications in November for the following school year.
  • Once our office has received and reviewed the completed documents, you will be contacted for an interview with the Director of Admissions.
  • Admission interviews are required with both parents in attendance (or the single parent with whom the student lives) of students applying to PK through 12th grade.
  • Additionally, students applying for grades 6 through 12 will need to accompany their parents to the admission interview.
  • After the interview any required testing or assessment will be scheduled and parents notified of testing date/time for their student.
  • Senior applications will also be reviewed by the School Board of Trustees.

Notification:

  • After the interview with the Director of Admissions and any necessary testing is completed, applications are then reviewed by the Admissions Committee of each school (senior applications are reviewed by the School Board of Trustees).
  • Shortly after this review you will be notified of your student's enrollment status.
  • If the decision is to accept, an enrollment card with instructions will be included with the decision letter and parents will have 10 days from the date the decision letter was written to respond.
  • If an applicant is qualified to attend SACS, but there are no places currently available, the applicant will be placed in a “wait pool.”  Wait pools are not prioritized lists.  If a space does become available, the Admission Committee will select the most appropriate candidate from the pool.
