About SACS Kindergarten

Meeting the developmental needs of children who will be five years of age by September 1st is the objective of our Kindergarten program. Both half-day and full-day sessions are available. Maximum class size is 18 students. Each student is evaluated prior to entrance in order to determine individual readiness. It is our desire that each child be properly placed to ensure that the first years at SACS are not only a delightful learning experience addressing the social, academic, and spiritual growth, but also a smooth transition from home or other schools. Each day begins with prayer, songs, and pledges to the Bible, as well as to the American, Christian, and Texas Flags. Academic areas of study include Bible, phonics, numbers, writing, music, and art. Spanish and computer basics are introduced to the students at the kindergarten level.

Each day begins with pledges, songs and prayer. All students attend chapel once a week. Every subject and activitie is biblically integrated with the distinct purpose of imparting a view of life that is God-centered. We also seek to encourage each student’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ, guiding them in forming Christ-like attitudes and a Godly value system. A strong sense of patriotism and awareness of missions round out the values we desire to instill in our students.
