6th Grade Fall Retreat
This is an exciting time at Camp Eagle on the Nueces River in early fall. It is a time for students to get to know each other and the 6th grade faculty.
7th & 8th Grades Fall Retreat
The students and faculty of SACS 7th and 8th grades spend a time of exciting activities, worship, and Bible study together at HEB Echo Valley Camp on the Frio River. The students attend chapel hearing and learning from a guest speaker brought in especially for this annual retreat.
8th Grade Spring Retreat
The 8th grade students spend 3 days at HEB Singing Hills Camp in April every year. It is a time to look forward to high school, to whom they are and who they are becoming. The families of the 8th Graders are invited to the camp for a special dinner, evening chapel, and a time for family discussion about what to expect from and of each other over the coming four years of high school.
Annual 7th and 8th Grade Christmas Party
A Christmas buffet, talent show and games all combined in a celebration of Christ's birth.
Annual 7th and 8th Grade R.I.O.T.
The 7th and 8th grade homerooms compete in a Ridiculous, Idiotic, Outrageous Time of games for the coveted R.I.O.T. trophy and bragging rights for the next year while their Parents and families cheer in the stands.
Math Olympics
Middle School students compete in math competition with other ACSI schools at the local, regional and state levels.
Spelling Bee
Middle School students compete in the annual ACSI Spelling Bee at grade level. Winning students continue to advance to the state and regional levels.
National Geographic Geography Bee
Middle School students compete at the local, state and national levels for scholarships based on their knowledge of world geography.
