High school is not all academics! At San Antonio Christian School we make every effort to have a proper balance of special activities and events that are part of the high school experience.
Annual Awards Banquet
At the end of each year the junior class honors the senior class by highlighting their accomplishments, goals and calling as they prepare for commencement and college. It is a time of celebration as each senior is honored.
Mission Trips
San Antonio Christian Schools has an active student missions program. Students have ministered in such countries as Mexico, Haiti, Africa, Ireland, Russia, and the Ukraine. Each year, students minister in at least two of these countries as well as here in San Antonio.
Annual Christmas Banquet
Christmas is a special time at San Antonio Christian Schools. The Christmas banquet is a time for students to dress up, develop social skills, and to celebrate Christ's birth.
Fall & Spring Retreats
Spiritual health is vital to responsible Christian living. Each year the high school begins the New Year with a 3-day retreat, which emphasizes relationship with God through Christ's sacrificial gift to us. Service, love, and relationship are always points of emphasis.
Art and Academic Meet
Opportunities to display academic talents in the arts are part of the offering through the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. SACS participates regularly in these events.
Special Meet
Speech meets and drama are also a popular part of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. SACS competes against other area and State private schools in these meets.
