* Subject: FW: Grandparent'' Day
Dear Mr. Paden,
My name is Jean Benham and my grandchildren are Kendall and Kamerin Cox. My great-nephew was the young lad from Scotland who came to the school a couple of years ago and played the bagpipes for the children.
That being said, last Thursday I experienced one of the most memorable mornings of my life. What a joy it was from beginning to end. I really must compliment you and your truly dedicated staff for a job so very well
done.
I have heard many, many tributes to our military forces during the 23 years my husband was in the Air Force and I can truly say that on Thursday I heard one of the very best. I was especially pleased to see the video playing of the Cub and Boy Scouts of America during their flag ceremonies. (I am the Program Secretary here at the Alamo Area Council.)
Mrs. Colhoon did a fantastic job with her choirs - what joy!
My compliments to all your staff who ran the event with precision and enthusiasm. My only regret is that my youngest (Kamerin) will be graduating from 5th grade this year and I won't be eligible for Grandparents' Day!
Again, many thanks to you and your wonderful staff. I am so very pleased that my two grandchildren are having the opportunity to attend SACS.
God's blessings to you all.
Sincerely,
JEAN BENHAM
